My family has been using The Picture Smart Bible this year as our Bible study. It is such a flexible program and a wonderful way to help children get an overview of the Bible.
The Picture Smart Bible is a Bible study geared for 4th grade on up (though they are currently working on a K-3rd edition which should be released in 2014.) It uses a master drawing sheet with symbols, items to trace, and captions to write in order to help children (and adults) remember the important points in each book of the Bible. You do not need to know how to draw to do this program! In fact, you don’t really draw— you trace and color.

The Picture Smart Bible curriculum comes in two volumes – Old Testament and New Testament – that can be purchased as a set or one at a time. The curriculum comes as a PDF download, a printable CD or a hole-punched set of pre-printed pages that you put in a binder.
